According to a recent study done by John Hopkins University, the average traveler spends 80% of his holiday planning time on finding a good budget hotel. Ok, we made that up but you get the point. Finding good budget accommodation is like finding true love, it’s almost impossible.

This is what typically happens: sometimes there’s too much information, sometimes there isn’t any information, sometimes there are too many reviews that confuse you (Thelma loves the hotel, Louise hates it), sometimes they're not enough reviews, sometimes you find a good hotel but don’t know what it looks like, sometimes you know what it looks like but can’t write to them because you’re on 3rd party website. In short, you’re up the Danube without a paddle. At this point you wish that someone would hand pick the best budget accommodations and bring them under one roof. Well, the good news is, someone has. Welcome to Budget Beds. We have scoured the earth, oh alright Europe, to bring you a collection of the finest budget hotels, pensions, b&bs, hostels, guesthouses, apartments and private accommodation in Europe.

Each accommodation is carefully selected on the basis of location, price, popularity, cleanliness, room size and security. And every accommodation is vouched for. Which means, there are no turkeys, or bad apples, in case you're a vegetarian. Now all you got to do is click on the city you’ll be visiting, choose the neighborhood you want stay in, visit the hotel’s webpage and email them directly without having to go though a booking site. (Fact: It's cheaper to book a room directly through the hotel than through a booking site. Fiction: If they tell you otherwise).
